Chuang-tzu was one of the most important thinker lived in the pre-Qin period who has been producing inestimable effect on culture and history of China. As a dual role of philosopher and fabulist, Chuang-tzu tried to avoid the linear pattern of monotonic statement, on the contrary, he was more willing to express his thoughts in an artistic style which the meaning is implied. However it faces a risk. Those who lack of thought depth and artistic imagination prefer to take a superficial rational stand to dismember the Chaos of Chuang-tzu’s thought, and we can see now unfortunately such things has become a reality in history. In order to restore Chuang-tzu’s thought, this paper distinguish the inner articles between the outer articles strictly, and focuses on the seven inner articles. If we read the seven inner articles intensively, and take it as a whole, we will find a basic masterstroke runs through Chuang-tzu’s thought, i.e."I have lost myself (吾丧我) which was remarked in the start of "The Equality of Opinions about Things"(齐物论). In order to understand Chuang-tzu completely and comprehensively, we must grasp this clue."Myself"(我)which should be lost is the key to "I have lost myself". How to understand "myself and what the root of it should be regarded as the basic premise of "I have lost myself. So it will be the focus for this paper to research and discuss. In essence,"I have lost myself" is not an epistemology proposition, but an instruction to a horizon of experience, which equivalent to the finger pointing to the moon."I have lost myself" express an appeal, not a usual appeal, but an appeal implicating a meaning of transcendence. It is a horizon followed by "I have lost myself" which was called" right now being to be"(当下即是)in this paper. It isn’t a normal state, but a horizon of transcendence eradicated subject-abject dichotomy relating to the basic question of metaphysics. Revealling what’s the meaning of transcendence and how to transcendent myself was the core task for this paper to do. Question plays a role as a guide in this paper. We will set out by digging Chuang-tzu’s fundamental question, then Explore the connotation of "I have lost myself" and trace for the root of "myself, thereby, we can instruct the particular way to achieve " I have lost myself and finally reach the horizon of " right now being to be".
