| This essay aimed to discuss the sentence,I have lost myself,of the Equality of Opinions and Thing of Chuag-tzu.The writer reckoned that ‘I have lost myself’ was the core of Chuang-tzu’s thought.Debating ‘I have lost myself’ profoundly could contribute elaborate Chuang-tzu’s thought deeply for academic field because the obscure theory might be easy to understand.In the first chapter,the writer made a general summary and researched on the theory of the Equality of Opinions and Things and its paragraph,which leaded to a discussion about ‘I’ ‘lost’ and ‘myself’ three words.Especially,‘I’ and ‘me’ two words were judged to do a detailed distinction in a word,form and meaning.The second chapter was the study of scholar to the ‘I have lost myself’ thought of the notes in the history.And to sort out and dialectical the notes.From the perspective of the life time,academic background and the faith,why these scholars have such views? This chapter,which based on the progress of history,political culture,the number of documents handed down,was divided into four periods of Jing and Tang Dynasty,Song Dynasty,Ming and Qing Dynasty and modern times.The third chapter focused on the word ‘myself’.The scholars in the historical river had mainly three views on this word: the first one was called fake ‘myself’ that was composed by sense;the second one was regarded as the physical body;the last one was ‘ego’.The writer tend to ‘ego’,the difference between the self and the others.Thus the meaning of ‘I have lost myself’ was to distinguish ‘made ego fade away’ and ‘made myself and others equal’.The fourth chapter focused on the word ‘lost’.The ‘equality’ that had the same meaning of ‘lost’ presented itself through the ‘lost of myself and others’ of ‘lost’.Approaching ‘I have lost myself’ must use means of ‘inner peace’ and ‘sitting oblivion’ to get the attained plane of ‘lost myself’.By studying the seven steps of Nyu Yu’s practice of Taoism to research the relationship among ‘inner peace’,‘sitting oblivion’,‘see light’ and ‘I have lost myself’.As for me,‘sitting oblivion’ and ‘inner peace’ were a kind of procedure,which was aim to achieve the plane of ‘see light’.The fifth chapter discussed what would happen afterwards the ‘I have lost myself’.The writer adopted the theory of three procedures of ‘sage’,‘man of god’ and ‘great man’ to deep analyze.Through the interpretation about ‘get truth’,‘man without time’,‘man who never dies’,‘a fable is a Huzi to show his state’ and ‘forget themselves in the rivers and lakes’ of modern scholars,we divided ‘I have lost myself’ into three parts: the one was indisputable theory,to judge a sage with heavenly principles;the other one was equality of everything,a plane of man of god;the rest one was a plane of great man,a plane of WuJi.The last chapter discussed the final consequence from the view of logic.It is ‘Tao as only’.At the mean time,rationality of ‘I have lost myself’ was testified by telling a story of HunDun.The thought of Confucians,Mencius and Mo-tse were confirmed ‘I have lost myself’ and used to seek for the connection of them. |
