The Artist's Soul "nietzsche"

Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche was a famous German philosopher and a founder of modern Western philosophy. And also, his thought is of great significance to the history of Western art. Because of historical and other reasons, the research of his thought is lack of consensus. Unlike other philosophies, philosophy of Nietzsche hasn’t a clear and comprehensive interpretation.This thesis elaborates Nietzsche partly by way of studying some of his works and explaining the concepts of Nietzsche such as’Dionysian Spirit’,’Phoebus Spirit’,’the Will to Power’, so that to understand his main idea, and to demonstrate that his thought has played an important role in the generation and development of the arts, and finally, to prove that which is so valuable and influential to guide artists during their artistic creation.Actually, Nietzsche’s philosophy of art is the aesthetics for creators, namely for artists. For this reason, Nietzsche which distinguished from other philosophies is very important to artists. Nietzsche explained the origin and generation of art, concentrating on the starting point and driving force of art activities, and through the appearance of artistic works, explained the root causes of creative act behind them. So that, in Nietzsche’s eyes, the ultimate requirement of artists is vital force and strong will. As an artist, the author expounds this aesthetic concept of Nietzsche with her own perspective and experience, and shows the importance of Nietzsche for the other artistic creators.
