The character "Outsider" initially comes from Albert Camus’ novel <Theoutsider>,which has made people discuss unceasingly since it came into being.Mostof people incline to label it with ridiculous,meaningless,unconscious andindifferent,but they seldom notice the other side or inside of their mind which is sucha special world that cannot be observed easily.Also most people neglect the course ofhow outsider come out,what they are suffering from,whether they can be saved, whatthey are facing during their life,where they come from and where they are goingto,and first of all-who they are.These question consist of the major part of this article.This article will begin with the hero of Camus-Morso and his brother inspirit-Roquentin to discuss the experience of the outsiders and the nature of it whenthese outsiders face this ridiculous,meaningless,unconscious and indifferentworld.The nature of meaninglessness coursed by the lose of connection with theworld comes from the revelation of death.Here,we will take Tolstoy and his works forexample to explain the strike led by death to motion and brief of human being.Deathwhich seems to be desperate to human is an opportunity for people to understand theirlives.The real Outsider is born from this new understanding that their lives aren’tridiculous,meaningless,unconscious and indifferent and what they need is to rebuildthe connection-a new relationship with GOD-with the world.They lust to leave secularworld for eternal one and eager to be beyond death.They will realise that the eternal world is hard to obtain and they have to facechallenges again and again when they stride on the travel of searching theirsouls.They will find that the hardest task is to search themselves-the inner world oftheir soul in which madness and danger-both can not be avoided,if they want toachieve the target-exist.At the same time,the outsider have to face anotherdifficulty-the constrain of their lust "to be themselves"-which comes from thecircumstance where they live.We will take some of Dostoevsky’s hero to discuss whatis ego which bring suffering to everyone and the course of arising of it.In this part wewill also see how the Outsider strive to conquer the obstacle of society which hindertheir growing and mature.In the last part of this article we will describe the experience of getting rid of egoand the joyousness of the enlightenment as well as the varieties of methods ofenlightenment.The target of this article is to integrate the isolated Outsiders who have same orsimilar spirit in western literature so that they can be observed with a systematicstandpoint that the Outsider is not a new and isolated phenomenon but a person whohas special soul and experience,he is the searcher for benediction not a eccentric.
