Known as "Poet Monk" and" Love Monk", Su Manshu, the novel man of Republic of China has made great achievements in poetry, painting, novels, translation and other fields in his rough and misted lifetime of35years. He was admired and followed by the contemporaries more because of his deep roots in Chinese Democratic Revolution, so he was also known as" Revolutionary Monk".He "seek truth by love" for the whole life but failed at last. However, he travelled between clergy and laity with his brave soul and unique character, and won the claps and cheers of countless people during and after his life. In the history of Chinese literature, he put his innocent and frank personality into his unique works. With a painful and rational attitude, he opened the sour history page of the educated youth heart in the transitional era. From historical and social perspectives, this article aimed at analyzing the position of Su Manshu’s novels in Chinese novel history through the text analysis of his novels " Six Chapters". That was his novel inherited the tradition and did the pioneer work for future generations. Putting Su Manshu and his works in the history of China and the literature development river, through the interpretation of his life experience, analysis of his personality and exploring of his mental world, as well as the strong self experience in his creation being the entry point, I would focus on analyzing the structure, plot pattern, character images, narrative aspects of innovation and inheritance, the strong era color and the critical voice etc aspects to review the inheritance and innovation of Su’s Novels "Six Chapters" for Chinese classical literary, and its effects for later creators.
