Based On The Corpus Of The Term "degree Adverb + Noun"

Since the1990s, the frequency of use of the structure of the "Degree Adverb+Noun" became higher and higher. It often appears in news magazines and newspapers,novels, television interviews, daily communications. Since the1960s, many scholarshave an in-depth research on the structure. They had yielded some results, and thereare still some shortcomings. This article is intended on the basis of previous studies.We did a quantitative survey to identify the structure, form, semantic features of noun,and try to predict those nouns which might enter this structure. The article is dividedinto five parts:The first part is a summary of previous studies, it shows the achievements andshortcomings of the previous studies. The previous research can be divided into twoviews, adverbs of degree can not modify nouns and adverbs of degree can modify thenoun. We analysis this two views of the achievements and shortcomings of theprevious studies, and presented the main ideas of this study, based on researchmethods and source from corpus.In the second part, we compare the noun which could enter "Degree Adverb+Noun" structure with "Modern Chinese vocabulary of common words”. Based on thecorpus, we get267noun which could enter the " Degree Adverb+Noun "structureand drawn them into five categories.The third part, we describe the general characteristics of the noun of "DegreeAdverb+Noun" structure and analysis the nouns on emotional, structural features andcharacteristics.And we did an in-depth discussion of the semantic features of thenoun which could enter the “Degree Adverb+Noun” structure. We syntactic thefunction of the “Degree Adverb+Noun”structure, and try to explain the formationmechanism of the “Degree Adverb+Noun” structure on the basis of previous studies.In addition, we also explain the special type of noun in the “Degree Adverb+Noun”structure, which has both noun and adjective speech.The fourth part, based on the noun we get at the first two chapters, we analysisnouns characteristics of “modern Chinese vocabulary of common words” again andexplain the feasibility of going into the " Degree Adverb+Noun" structure. We did anexplainion about the feasibility of the online popular noun.Finally, based on the former paper studies,we get the categories and characteristicsof the noun which could enter the “Degree adverb+noun " structure, and predictthose nouns which might enter this structure.
