Chinese idioms are an important part of modern Chinese, they are a window to understand Chinese culture for international students,also the difficulty in senior vocabulary of teaching Chinese as a foreign language. We retrieval to468idiom mistakes from "HSK language database of Beijing language and culture university". Syntax errors have310sentences, Accounting for66.2percent of the total,semantic errors have140sentences, accounting for29.9percent of the total,,pragma tic errors have18sentences, accounting for3.9percent of the total.The largest number of idioms error is syntax mistakes,the next is Semantic errors and Pragmatic errors. According to quantity from high to low,idioms can be used as adverbials, predicate attributives, object, and complements, independent component. No idioms as the subject of the sentence. When idioms as predicate, types are the most complex,when as the adverbial,use attributive "de" to instead the adverbial"de",in order to connect adverbial and center language. To Verify the accuracy of Syntax errors analysis, statistics the use of Chinese people. In the semantic aspect, idiom errors include:Semantic lack, Incorrect semantic, Semantic conflicts, Semantic repeat, Semantic lay particular stress on.The proportion of Semantic lack is the biggest.Pragmatic divided into emotional do not correct and context use undeserved.The source of error are the followings:diom is very complex, the purpose of language rules excessive generalization, the influence of dictionary, teaching outline, the influence and the textbook,the dictionary suitable for students is not so many, In compiling a dictionary,We make some advices, we Design the style of a suitable dictionary, I hope to offer some useful references to reduce errors.
