In 1927-1937 Nanjing Residential Construction Problem Research

1927, Kuomingtang Government moved their capital to NanJing,which brought problems of population boom. The demands of housing increased fiercly, bring the housing problem. To maintain the stability of NanJing,the municipal government took a series of measuers.This paper mainly analyzes the resdiental problems of NanJing municipal construction process during1927-1937. This paper can be divided into four patrs.The first introduces the basic information of housing problem after the government moved. Trying to analyze the reason why the government strengthen the construction of house. The second introduced the auyhorities using the legislation measure to solve the tension of living.Especially introduces Capital Plan.The third,city authorities opend up new housing area and improved thacks housing. They also bulit new house for the poor people.For some entent,these measures reduced the housing pressure. The last part is my comment on the measures,which the government took during the ten years construction, indoer to make certain their positive side of housing construction and the deficiency point.Housing problem is one of the most important problem in the dvelopment of morden city. Solving the housing problem is the key to solve the whole housing problem. NanJing municipal government learned the measures from the western countries,using the ways of both public and privite contruction and strengthing the investment and planing on the housing contruction. All these are good reference for the morden city to solve the housing problem.
