| The school music education in our country was greatly developed during the period from 1927 to 1937,and various extracurricular music groups in schools were also quite active.Moreover,the harmonica music had been widely promoted and popularized during this period,which had a significant effect on the field of music education.Under such a background,the harmonica clubs in universities had gradually developed and prospered in our country.They were numerous and distributed in many areas of our country,having become an important carrier of extracurricular music education activities in universities.This article focuses on the harmonica clubs of Daxia University and Henan University,and studies the university harmonica clubs in1927-1937.First,this article studies the university harmonica clubs in 1927-1937 from an overall perspective.Generally speaking,the university harmonica clubs in this period commonly had diversified club purposes,and had a professional inclination in the organizational structure of the club.They also carried out active teaching and performance activities under the guidance of their respective club purpose.After the overall research,this article has studied two cases of the university harmonica clubs in 1927-1937.This case research combined with the previous overall research,enriching the research perspective of this article.Two representative cases were selected in this article: Harmonica Club of Daxia University and Harmonica Club of Henan University.The representativeness of these two harmonica clubs is that they both pursued the two prevalent club purposes in the harmonica clubs at that time: "aesthetic education" and "popularizing music".Under the guidance of the purpose of their respective club,they carried out a large number of music education activities and achieved great achievements.Based on the overall research and case research,the article summarizes and analyzes the characteristics and influences of the university harmonica clubs in 1927-1937.In terms of characteristics,the university harmonica clubs in this period had the following three characteristics: they were greatly influenced by the professional harmonica clubs,embraced the differences of community members,and professional in the training of harmonica music technology.In terms of influences,the university harmonica clubs in this period had the following three influences: it supplemented after-school music education in some universities,made aesthetic education and other concepts emphasized in universities,and gave birth to influential professional harmonica groups.Finally,on the basis of the discussion of the article,this paper draws the following conclusions: The university harmonica clubs in 1927-1937 were formed under a specific historical environment;the music forms in the activities were mainly Western musics;and they were the extracurricular music activity groups on campus that carried a variety of music ideas;moreover,they had made outstanding contributions in aesthetic education and popularizing music. |
