Composing lyrics and poems on history is the excellent tradition of Chinese literature,the combination of such a tradition and lyrics gives birth to history-nostalgia lyrics. Composers go sight-seeing and lament the dynasties’ups and downs, which enables them to lament what they encounter. The history-nostalgia lyrics appear in later Tang, gradually develop during the Northern Song and soar to the peak in Southern Song. The author chooses the history-nostalgia lyrics written in Southern Song Dynasty as the study object, which is significant to the overall study of the lyrics. From a longitude view, the history-nostalgia lyric has finished its own development, and from a landscape orientation view, it is the important component of the booming lyrics written in Southern Song.According to the time and the schools, this paper shows the subjects and a connotation of the history-nostalgia lyrics written in Southern Song, including eight parts:In the Introduction part,mainly talking about the definition of the history-nostalgia lyrics and paying attention to the relationship and differences among reminiscent lyrics and Denglin lyrics. Secondly, giving a general overview of the research status of the history-nostalgia lyrics written in Southern Song.In the first chapter, the theme of the history-nostalgia lyrics written in Tang, Five-dynasty Northern Song period is summarized. HuaJian composers lament the emperors’regal living and satirize their indulging themselves in sensual pleasure. Besides, they write the rise and fall of the capital of the previous dynasty and lament historical changes. What’s more, they pursue beauties’love affair and in which, they lodge at their feelings of the life. The scholars in Northern Song worship heroes and distinguished men, pulling lots of male parts into lyrics, which, to some extent, reflect their selections of the value. Jingling nostalgia and lamenting on the dynasties’changes shows the scholars’worries. Writing the female’tragedy reflects the scholars’aesthetic pursuit.In the second chapter, the history-nostalgia lyrics’theme written by Namtu composers is probed. Event of Jingkang gives rise to the big change of literature and give birth to a variety of history-nostalgia lyrics, as a result, the first peak of the history-nostalgia lyrics comes. Some of the Namtu composers call heroes,showing their faith in wiping out the national humiliation; some admire hemits,singing bad songs without any other choice; some write sense of floating, mourning the nostalgic feeling. Compared with the previous generation, the Metrical Composers is not superior in the histoty-nostalgia lyrics’amount, but on the theme, they show certain innovation. Composers write the changes of ancient locations and lament the sadness of the deterioration, which reflects feelings of the scholar-bureaucrats. In addition, they chant the event of Wu and Yue and use it as a metaphor of reality. What’ more, they follow itinerant hermits and lodge at the sense of floating. In the aspect of the topic, they write the status of the self, showing a variety of aesthetic style.In the fifth chapter, the theme of the histoty-nostalgia lyrics written by JiangXi faction in late Song is elaborated. Recalling LinAn downtown, lamenting previous countries and summarizing the lesson of its demise; extolling upwright heroes, showing their loyalties to Song and reflecting the firm national integrity. The feature of times is highlighted in the aspect of the theme, which inherits the tradition of Xin Qiji faction and meanwhile, has their own innovations.In the sixth chapter, the theme of the histoty-nostalgia lyrics written in Southern Song is case-studied. Taking the gusu histoty-nostalgia and zhenjiang histoty-nostalgia as the case, the impacts of regional culture and times on mediating on the history are explored.The rest gives a summary of the histoty-nostalgia lyrics’s highlighting chacters written in Southern Song:regional and age.Finally, talking about the reasons why the history-nostalgia lyrics written in Southern Song can develop, which is related to the dynasty changes, the development of the lyric’s system and the poetic lyric theories.
