The study of the nostalgia was later for China compared to the West, But most ofthe study focused on the creation of literary works, advertising,marketing andnostalgia intervention treatment of the elderly. In previous studies,Nostalgia wasconsidered can promote individual and social contact, reduce loneliness and promotethe role of individual identity.In order to verify the active role on the nostalgic, thestudy selected three kinds of the adults, explored the relationship between nostalgiaand the subjective well-being through questionnaires.The study proposes: nostalgia has a significant predictive effect for people’ssubjective well-being. Specific assumptions are as follows:Hypothesis1:The60’S,The70’S and The80’S have significant differences innostalgia.But it’s opposite for SWB. Nostalgia showed a growth trend on age.Hypothesis2: Nostalgia and SWB have no significant differences in gender,family residence, living conditions, family structure, education level, marital statusand income.Hypothesis3: Nostalgia can predict SWB significantly.The study includes the following three parts:Step1: Verify the reliability and validity of “localization nostalgia Scale” and“general well-being scale”to obtain the appropriate measurement tools.Step2: nostalgia and quantitative research SWB features three ages, and a detailedanalysis of both the difference in demographic variables.Step3: Analyze the Impact of nostalgia for SWB through the correlation andregression analysis,The study selected365questionnaires in Changzhou randomly and331validquestionnaires were returned. The results were described as follows:(1)The Scale Of Localization of nostalgia and general well-being have both goodreliability and validity for the study. (2)The levels of nostalgia and the sense of subjective well-being were associatedsignificantly.On the level of family nostalgia,social nostalgia and the overall level ofnostalgia,the60’s were higher than the80’s significantly.(3)There was no significant difference in the nostalgia and general well-being interms of gender and home location.(4)The overall level of nostalgia and overall well-being were no significantdifferences in marital status,single people in F1(satisfaction and interest of life)wassignificantly higher than the non-singles crowd.(5)The overall level of nostalgia and general well-being in the living conditions ofthe difference was not significant;But in theF4(depressed or happy mood) factor didnot live with their parents well-being of the population was significantly higher thanthat of people living with their parents.(6)There is no significant difference of the overall level of nostalgia in the familystructure;family nostalgia and overall happiness levels were significantly higher thannon-child-child.(7)There is no significant difference in the overall level of nostalgia on theeducation, But in the overall level of well-being significantly different, the personwith higher degree is higher than the low degree of people on the overall trend.(8)There is no significant differences in the overall levels of nostalgia oneconomic income. Opposite of the nostalgia, economic income and happiness is not asimple linear relationship.
