| David Wiesner is a most famous contemporary picture book painter in United States and even inthe world. Based on his life and education, this thesis analysis his singular characteristics of hisbooks from the following three aspects.In second chapter, it examines the sources of his picture books singular characteristic. It points outthat David Wiesner was born in United States,50s in20th century, influenced by techniques ofrealism, surrealism and avant-garde painting, these are solid foundation that he become leader inpicture books in the word. In third chapter, it analyses several singular features aspects in hisbooks, creative fantasy and grotesque, visual theme simple magic effects and intense, and rich andfascinating in details. In forth chapter, it analysis images and structures of his picture books formseveral levels. Chapter V goes further analysis aspire sources of his books and creation process ofthem. It reviews that this research will improve picture books in our country. |
