| During the half of the20th century, figure painting was showing a complex and diverse context of evolution, but didn’t contact with the New Year paintings born in the late1930s anti-Japanese revolutionary base. After the founding of The People’s Republic of China in1949, portraits and New Year paintings previously in different geographic regions of space had together integrated into the new nation ideology-in the fine arts areas, in this historical context, new Year prints impacted on the development of the portraits. Therefore, The dissertation consider New Year painting after the founding of The People’s Republic of China as the starting point, examine and explore the impact of the accepted figure painting historical evolution of the specific historical period from the new New Year painting, better to grasp new the complexity of the evolution history of Chinese painting of Figure after the founding of The People’s Republic of China.The full text is divided into four chapters, first chapter focus on retrospecting the evolution of the former figure painting and the New Year painting, in order to more clearly understand the historical impact after the founding of The People’s Republic of China in1949.Second chapter on the new New Year1949-1952years rendered portraits impact and analysis, firstly retrospect the historic reason of affect, on this basis describe specifically three aspects concluding the teaching in the Academy of Fine Arts, the artist thought and creative,trying to clearance of the specific impact of new Year painting on portraits.Chapter Ⅲ is mainly based on the creative aspects of the1953New Year on the portraits, in according to the difference of theme, in the real life subject matter, bring the new New Year mode to explore the figure painting in the acceptance of the new New Year impact; in the subject matter of ancient history, through the new creative in New Year painting, the traditional figure painter to explore the other way of the traditional figure painting’ evolving, in addition,from the view of social communication to understand the historical role played by the new Year prints in the portraits.
