The ability of Chinese characters as the more important part of the linguistics appliedcomprehensive ability, occupies a pivotal position in the basic personal qualities ofself-cultivation of college students. However, with the wide application of the rapid adoption ofcomputer technology and the smart pinyin input method, the ability of college students areaffected to a certain extent. Therefore, more systematic and detailed study and analysis of theimpact to college students’Chinese character applied ability causing by using the input methodhas practical significance.The paper takes the advantages function of pinyin input method as a breakthrough, using aquestionnaire survey, for example collection and interviews method system analysis of theinfluence of college students text recognition ability and text memory capacity causing byoptimizing the function of the smart pinyin input method, in order to objectively demonstrate theinput method which college students generally used has an affect on their text applied ability.The paper is divided into four chapters.Puts forward corresponding countermeasures, and takesappropriate reforms to improve the students’ language ability as the final purpose.The development context of the input method is in the first chapter, and then take theintelligent pinyin input method of the popular reasons for a system analysis, and discussed fromtwo aspects of the input method of entry capabilities and characteristics of service capabilities,expounds one by one the convenient function which the intelligent Pinyin input method canprovide for Chinese characters inputting.The second Chapter through collecting corpus and combing with survey data,take a moredetailed analysis respectively to fuzzy recognition function,abbreviations recognition functionand intelligent split function of the smart pinyin input method which has impaction to facilitatetext recognition function on college ability.Chapter 3 combined with questionnaire and the collected corpus of intelligent pinyin inputmethod to the analysis of the influence of the college students’ Chinese characters memorycapacity, mainly including writing memory blank phenomena, verbal memory fuzzy phenomenaand text written in error phenomenon of three parts.The fourth chapter is mainly aimed at the problems appears in the former two chapters, andputs forward some countermeasures for improving college students’ writing application ability, such as students themselves to correct their attitude, and actively correct the error, the popularityof the characters proficiency testing, software development department is appropriate to improvethe settings, schools and other relevant departments strengthen management and so on.
