As an important aesthetic category, Qu has an far-reaching effect on our classic aesthetics, especially in Ming dynasty, Qu is an measure of aesthetics that is applied in intellectual’s life. Based on the Poems of Ming Dynasty all Arranges, edited by Wu Wenzhi, the paper attempts to explore aesthetic meaning, aesthetic form, aesthetic characteristics, and aesthetic evaluation of Qu and related ideas in the poetics of Ming Dynasty. This paper makes attempt to explore comprehensively Qu’s historical function of aesthetic trend in the Ming Dynasty, by making out Qu and related second category. Therefore, the paper discusses it from three parts.Part I analyses promptly the research status of Qu. It concludes the research of Qu’s aesthetic implication, discussion of Qu and its related categories, discussion of Qu’s aesthetic practice, and ideaistic discussion of Qu in some learned men. Part II discusses implication of Qu in poems of Ming dynasty:semantic and aesthetic meaning. The semantic meaning of Qu is hastening, and afterwards it becomes rush up; then Qu refers to emotional interest in aesthetic context. Part III puts an stress on analyzing typical Zhen Qu, interest and interest of leisure. First, Zhen Qu, under the effect of the theory of spirituality, is natural interest of statement of spirit; second, this part explores interest’s implication and the explanation of poets and learned men for it in Ming dynasty. For example, Xie Zhen, who criticized poems with GanXing, emphasized that poets needed a creative urge and inspiration to some things, and then used it to trigger a life experience and aesthetic interest. Third, the intellectual, living in Ming dynasty, pursed for an interest of reclusive and leisure in their common life, and then they put their ideals to landscape in order to be content with their lots.Part IV discusses the reasons that the intellectual criticized classic poems with Qu. On the one side, the phenomenon relates to literature thought of Ming dynasty; on the other side, it relates to awakening of the intellectual’s self-awareness. Qu is characteristic of epochal character, diversification and pertinence.
