In the Paper "on the fuzziness”，the famous British philosopher Bertrand Russell said:“Thewhole language, more or less is fuzzy”. The study of Fuzzy Linguistics was started from foreigncountries. It mainly discusses word and grammar fuzziness. In China the research startedrelatively lately, Wu Tieping is the earliest one who has opened the Fuzzy Language researchesin China. He has published successively many important monographs and periodicals. Thisarticle is on the basis of the study of predecessors to Fuzzy Language, selecting the OfficialDocuments as the main research corpus and analyzes the fuzzy words in them, discusses thespecific reason and the pragmatic effect of fuzzy words. There are five parts in the article.The Preface discussed why do I chooses this topic, and the research status, the theory andmethods of use.The theory of Fuzzy Linguistics is the first one, which including the theme’s presentationand development, the necessity of existence in life and the dialectical analysis about thefuzziness and the accuracy. At the same time, the paper introduced the definition types of fuzzywords. Finally it explained some of the definition of official documents.The second chapter and the third chapter in this paper are about the application in reallife.this is the most important part which including classified statistics and the use of fuzzywords’ analysis. And it made research about the highest frequency appeared of every kind inreports, including the ranges and memberships about fuzzy words. At the end, it discussed thepragmatic effects of the fuzzy words.The forth one is the realistic significance. It discussed several principles using in the officialdocuments in order to use of fuzzy language better.The chapter5is summary, introduces the solutions and challenges in writing and unsettledproblems of the article.
