The records of chemotherapy-induced peripheral nerve toxicity has not been found in ancient Chinese medicine, but the symptoms can be attributed to Bi syndrome. Chinese medicine has done a lot of research inprcvention and treatment of the disease,most scholars be lieve that i ts etiology and pathogenesis is nothing more than "deficiency" or "stasis" or "cold" or "wet" or "poison", single or a number of factors at the same time cause the disease, resulting in nutrition deficiency of meridians, and skin, as well as the block of the Qi and blood circulat ion, which can cause numbness and pain of the limb and skin. As for the treatment, individual physicians have inconsistent views around the etiology and pathogenesis of this disease.
