【Objective】By means of analyzing ancient and modern literatures of traumatology, from the perspective of the principles of treatment, generalizing about information of syndrome differentiation of low back pain, and then summarizing the principle of traumatology.【Methods】This thesis is composed of two parts, part one is about summarizing treating methods and development from ancient literatures relevant abstract of low back pain, taking low back pain for example, summing up the massage treatment principle and etiology of traumatology and treatment method based on syndrome differentiation.Part two is about summarizing treating methods and development of low back pain and prolapsed of lumbar intervertebral disc in the last10years from CNKI. Finally generalizing about the treating principles of orthopedics and traumatology. The ancient literature also contains two parts, one part is summarizing etiology of low back pain through the literature of traumatology from each period, then drawing the conclusion of syndrome differentiation. The other part is to verify the principles of treatment and syndrome differentiation of traumatology by the way of analyzing methods in ancient books and classical literature.[Results]Definition:Generally speaking, low back pain is a sort of disease which contains trauma in low back,disorder of qi-blood circulation,stagnation in pulse or pain concentrate on one or both sides caused by deficiency of the kidney.Etiology:Factors that cause low back pain contains wind, cold, wet, phlegm, blood stasis, coagulation, falling caused sprain. Disease locates at the liver spleen and kidney.Representative treating method:Lumber rubbing cream is the representative of curing low back pain with cold syndrome in traumatology.Differentiation of channels and collaterals::he theory is derived from "Yellow Emperor’s Canon of internal medicine".
