Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus And Hypertension Syndrome Characteristics Of Traditional Chinese Medicine Research

Purpose:The high incidence of Type2diabetes and hypertension, has caused a great deal of threat to human life and health, and studies have shown that the two diseases often associated in the same patient. The study of Chinese medicine syndromes on the combined populations of type2diabetes and hypertension has not yet formed a unified understanding. This study used quest ionnaires and cluster ana lysis, makes a preliminary exploration of type2diabetes and hypertension TCM syndromes.Methods:Design type2diabetes and hypertension syndrome questionnaire, screening patients from outpatient and inpatient cases, fide108cases of type2diabetes and hypertension, make general records and four diagnostic data records, the symptoms quantified Entry Microsoft Excel2007, rounding frequency is too low (<5%) symptoms, cluster analysis using SPSS17.0.Results:In general, the age of the108patients for59.33±9.8years old; BMI to27.11±3.2kg/m2, which means most of them are overweight or obese patients; the history of diabetes is11.30±6.97years; the history of hypertension is11.10±9.10years; dyslipidemia is the most common comorbidities,73.1%of patients with dyslipidemia.Using cluster analysis and knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine theory, the symptoms of the108patients with type2diabetes and hypertension patients were divided into four groups. Groupl:facial flushing, red eyes, ears roar, bitter taste in the mouth, more food, irritability, yellow urine, constipation, red tongue, yellow fur, pulse string; Group2:dark purple lips, dull, deafness, dark purple tongue or ecchymosis, pulse astringent; Group3:anorexia, nausea, loose stool, pale tongue, big fat tongue, thick fur, white fur, greasy fur, slippery pulse; the fourth Group:dizziness, head pain, heavy head, such as Mongolia, blurred vision, tinnitus, such as cicadas, dry mouth, thirst, polydipsia, insomnia, forgetfulness, weakness in the limbs, spontaneous sweating, night sweats, palpitations, shortness of breath, chest tightness, five upset hot, weary fatigue, Yaoxisuanruan, cold extremities, numbness of the limbs, edema, nocturnal enuresis, moss thin, dry moss, moss peeling, pulse, pulse, pulse, weak pulse. Conclusions:general statistics, we can see in these patients, most are elderly, the body performance are overweight or obese, most have a long history in general, the most common comorbidities is dyslipidemia.
