From puberty begins, the female endometrium happen periodic shedding and accompanied by vaginal bleeding, which is called menstruation, menstrual cycle is menstruation periodic change.Menstrual cycle is divided into the follicular phase and the luteal phase by ovulation day. Follicular phase length is not fixed, but fixed approximately14days of the luteal phase. Menstrual cycle is regulated mainly through the hypothalamus, pituitary and ovarian hormone interactions.Purpose This research analyzes the trend of the normal menstrual cycle in healthy women and the relationship between liver storing blood and regulating the smooth flow of Qi and the female menstrual cycle, which reveals the regulatory mechanism of liver storing blood and regulating the smooth flow of Qi.Methods We chose93female college students which meet the screening standards as the object of study. These women were divided into high neuroticism group and low neuroticism groups based on the Eysenck personality questionnaire-N. We supervise them to fill out some forms in their corresponding menstrual cycle, including the normal menstrual cycle-related performance self-rating scale, the Beck Anxiety Inventory, the Beck Depression Inventory, college students life event scale in three months. Female college students of the stress group need to complete psychological tests in the first menstrual cycle. The stress group and the control group both haven’t the need for psychological testing in the follow months. Statistical methods:we applicant SPSS20.0software for statistical analysis, use t-test or Wilcoxon rank sum test for count data according to the data distribution patterns, use the X2test for measurement data."P>0.05" indicating that there was no significant difference,"P<0.05" indicating that there was significant difference.Results We recycle82valid questionnaires in this study. According to the analysis of the normal menstrual cycle-related performance self-rating scale, the score of late luteal phase is higher than the score of early follicular phase and the score of the late follicular phase is the lowest, their comparison have a significant statistical difference; In the mental or emotional performance, the highest level of performance is irritability in the late luteal phase (0.95±0.91) and the highest frequency of occurrence is both irritability (65%);in the comparison of three cycles of every problem score, the score of irritability, easy to get angry, melancholy are significantly different (p<0.01); the emotional score of late luteal phase (27.08±21.51) is higher than the emotional score of early follicular phase (22.53+17.89) and the emotional score of the late follicular phase(18.20±15.14) is the lowest. The three cycles scores’comparison between the Beck Anxiety Inventory and the three cycles scores’comparison Beck Depression Inventory aren’t significantly different. The comparison between the stress group and the control group aren’t significantly different. There are no some significant adverse events happen to the girls during the investigation.Conclusion state of the female health in late luteal phase is so poor compared with the other two apparent poor, especially in the mental or emotional performance. The highest level of performance and the highest frequency of occurrence are both irritability (65%) in the late luteal phase. These revealed the relationship between liver storing blood and regulating the smooth flow of Qi.
