ObjectiveThe book of treatise on febrile diseases is written by medical sage Zhang-Zhongjing who summarized ancestor’s theory and experience. This book is highly appraised by later traditional chinses medicine doctors. It is commended as the’ forefather of all other prescription’.The six-meridian syndrome differentiation recorded in the book of treatise on febrile diseases is a powerful weapon used when differentiate diseases by traditional chinese medicine doctors. Many traditional chinses medicine doctors annotate the book of treatise on febrile diseases and expound their opinions of the six-meridian syndrome differentiation. However, their opinions of Taiyang, Yangming, Shaoyang, Taiyin, Shaoyin are similar. But their opinions of the last one Jueyin are different. After the year 1949, many traditional chinses medicine doctors started to discuss the connotation of Jueyin diseases. They talked about Jueyin diseases’s main symptom, type and the methods to treat the disease. However, they didn’t make sometimes out. They can’t agree with each other. One of the famous traditional chinses medicine doctors said’Jueyin diseases will be a difficult problem forever and nobody know what it is.’ Like is a famous traditional chinses medicine doctor. He helped many patients whose condition is really serious. This paper is try to solve the problem of Jueyin diseases according to Like’s academic theory.MethodsThis paper adopts the method of theoretical research, summarizes Like’s chinese medicine academic theory, clarify Like’s opinion that we should combine Zheng-Qinan’s theory that’ Yang Qi dominate our life ’and Peng-Ziyi’s theory that’qi moves as a circle’ together as a system. We can use this system to analyse the six-meridian syndrome differentiation and solve the problem of Jueyin. After summarize ancient people’s opinion, we can be more clear with the concept of yinyang, the five elements, the twelve meridians. Then we can define Jueyin diseases’s main symptom, type and the methods to treat the disease.ContentThis thesis mainly studies the following sections:(1) After the year 1949, many doctors of traditional chinese medicine summarized ancestors’experience, read ancient books, summed up their own clinical practice. All they wanted is to solve the problem of Jueyin diseases. They discussed for many times. However, they can’t agree with each other. But they came up with many ideas to solve the problem. At the first part of this paper, I summarized their opinions. Their difference of Jueyin diseases is mainly about the main symptom of Jueyin diseases, the type of Jueyin diseases, the methods to cure the diseases. They also wondered if the book was made up wrongly. They can not find a line to connect all these questions. What is Jueyin? All doctors agree with the opinion that Jueyin is the state when Ying will be end and Yang will be started. But what is the main symptom of Jueyin diseases? Some doctors think the main symptom of Jueyin diseases is just about worm. The worm moves in people’s body which lead to uncomfortable. Some doctors think Jueyin diseases is the last stage of the six-meridian syndrome differentiation, the situation should be serious. Some doctors think we should use ’Wumei pill’ to cure the disease. But others think the diseases will not be fine if you use’Wumei pill’. Somebody think the book of treatise on febrile diseases is made up wrongly, so we can not solve the problem. All these difference should be solved. Jueyin diseases is serious. These is no way to solve it with pure traditional chinese medicine at present.(2) The famous traditional chinese medicine doctor Like have abundant experiences with Jueyin diseases. His opinion is that we should combine Zheng-Qinan’s theory that’Yang Qi dominate our life’and Peng-Ziyi’s theory that’qi moves as a circle’together as a system. We can use this system to analyse the six-meridian syndrome differentiation and solve the problem of Jueyin.Zheng-Qinan lived in later period of Qing Dynasty. He learned traditional chinese medicine from Liu-Zhitang who was very famous at Yijing. Zheng-Qinan thought yang qi dominate of our life. What we do everyday is rely on Yang Qi. When he saw a patient, he thought the change of Yang and Yin to estimate the patient’s disease. He thought traditional chinese medicine was came from YiJing. He alse highly appraised the six-meridian syndrome differentiation. He thought the six-meridian syndrome differentiation is not just for influenza, but also for internal medicine. We should use the six-meridian syndrome differentiation flexibly.Peng-Ziyi is a national minority. When he was a child, he read many books about traditional chinese medicine. When he grow up, he went into the national library. He spend most of his time there to read books about traditional chinese medicine. By summarizing Zhouyi and Hetu, he realized that Qi moves as a circle. His academic thought is highly modeling. Our world and our body’s Qi moves in the same way. Thus we can analyze diseases more simply. In Peng-Ziyi’s system, we can combine all traditional chinese medicine conception. Foe example, the five elements, the six Qi, the twelve meridians. We also can put physiology and pathology of traditional chinese medicine in his system. Peng-Ziyi believed that the Mid-Qi is most important of our life. Our Qi moves as a circle, the Mid-Qi is its motion. The Mid-Qi acts in the center and Qi of wood, fire, gold, water runs at around. When we face a disease, we should analyze if the center goes wrong or the surrounding goes wrong. We also can put the six-meridian syndrome differentiation in the system. Thus, we can analyze disease more simply. The famous traditional chinses medicine doctor Like believed that Zheng-Qinan highly evaluated the importance of Yang-Qi, Peng-Ziyi highly evaluated the importance of Mid-Qi. If we combine their theories, it would be more easier for analyzing diseases. We can use this system to recognize traditional chinese medicine’s physiology and pathology and the six-meridian syndrome differentiation. Like inherited Zheng-Qinan’s theory that Yang-Qi is more important than Yin-Qi. Without Yang-Qi, Yin-Qi is still. Yang-Qi is the master of Yin-Qi. Like inherited Peng-Ziyi’s theory that Mid-Qi is very important. Especially when patient’s condition is terribly serious. If patient’s Mid-Qi is alive, it is relatively easy to rescue. But if patient’s Mid-Qi is end, the patient must die. Our Qi raise, grow, collect, hide everyday rely on Mid-Qi. Like believed that we would not get illness if our Qi is strong. When you get illness, if your Qi is strong, you will get illness whose attribute is hot, if your Qi is weak, you will get illness whose attribute is cold. In the six-meridian syndrome differentiation, the three Yang symptom is illness of hot, the three Yin symptom is illness of cold. Jueyin is most serious disease in the six-meridian syndrome differentiation.(3) On the basic of summarizing Like’s academic theory, by analyzing the meaning of Jueyin in different connotation of traditional chinses medicine system. We make a clear definition of the Jueyin disease. We also know how to cure Jueyin disease. In Yin and Yang system, Jueyin is the situation when Yin is going to turn to Yang; In system of the five elements, Jueyin stand for liver and raise; In system of Biao-Ben-Zhong Jueyin stand for wind. If Jueyin’s function goes wrong, people will be easy to feel weak.By summarizing Like’s academic theory. We understand the source of Like’s academic theory. We progressively know how to combine the theory of Zheng-Qinan’s and Peng-Ziyi’s. We find the way to solve the problem of Jueyin. With the system of Like’s academic theory, we can comprehend the six-meridian syndrome differentiation more accurately. The main symptom of Jueyin diseases is faint. As you are in Shaoyin diseases, your pulse is slim and deep, you feel doze all the time. Jueyin diseases is more serious than Shaoyin diseases, so people will faint. Except faint, people’s tongue will be roll up, men’s testicle will be shrinked. Of all these symptom, faint is the most representative one. The Qi of our body moves as a circle. If it is blocked. People will get sick. Traditional chinses medicine doctors just want to find out.where your Qi is blocked, they untie the block and your illness will be fine. Some traditional chinses medicine doctors think the Jueyin part of the book of treatise on febrile diseases is put at wrong place. After realizing the academic theory of Like, we know that the clause just wants to tell you where the block is. So you can cure people’s diseases. The book of treatise on febrile diseases is correct.ConclusionBy analyzing the relevant contents of Jueyin diseases, we summarized the clinical classification of Jueyin diseases, They are typical cold one and shifty hot one. For the typical cold one, we can use’remedy heart medicine’ It can save the Yin and Yang which no one can live without. For the shifty hot one, we should use the methods which created by traditional chinese medicinal doctors who study Wen diseases. If people’s diseases is mainly related to Shoujueyin meridian, we should give him cold medicine to help him revive. If people’s diseases is mainly related to Zujueyin meridian, we should help him cease his wind which generated inside.
