Purpose: Compared"4Facial Penetration Needling" to" Ordinary Acupuncture "efficacyin the clinical trials,at the acute stage and recovery stage of peripheral facial paralysis. At thesame time,by using the "Bioelectrical Quantitative Analysis", find better treatment options.Material and method:Selected60patients of the outpatient standard, randomlydivided into two groups:"30cases in treating group which is treated by"4Facial PenetrationNeedling" and30cases in control group which is treated by "Ordinary Acupuncture ".Thetreatment was given3times per week. All patients accept the face of biological signalsacquisition before and after each treatment. The therapeutic effect was assessed respectivelyin the acute and recovery stage, and the data was recorded and dealt with statistical method.Results:1. The results showed that in the treating group(30cases),0case healed completely well,8cases had marked effect,11cases had effect, and the total cure rate was63.3%at the acutestage,24case healed completely well,5cases had marked effect,0cases had effect, andthe total cure rate was96.7%at the recovery stage. In the control group(30cases),0casehealed completely well,7cases had marked effect,11cases had effect, and the total curerate was60%,18case healed completely well,6cases had marked effect,2cases hadeffect, and the total cure rate was86.7%.2. In the treating group (30cases) and the control group (30cases),The bioelectricity gap of the healthy side and affected side were gradually narrow, but toreduce the percentage of treatment group was significantly better than the control groupConclusion:1."4Facial Penetration Needling" and " Ordinary Acupuncture " are effective therapies intreating peripheral facial paralysis.2. There was no significant difference between these two groups at the acute stage (P>O.05),but significant difference at the recovering stage (P<0.05),it suggested that at therecovering stage, the treating group had got better effect. 3. Acupuncture can significantly reduce the uninvolved facial bioelectrical gap effectof the two groups had significant differences in the treating group than the controlgroup(p<0.05).
