Abstract/Summary:
Objective and significance:this study makes observation of the clinical efficacy of the PDS (spleen and stomach deficiency) that is a subtype of FD as the starting point. The study compares Huang Qi Jian Zhong decoction that is used together Zhi Shi Xiao Pi pill with the common clinical prescription that is Xuan Fu Dai Zhe Shi decoction in the treatment efficacy of the patients of PDS of spleen and stomach deficiency. In the same time, the security of the two prescriptions is compared.The study will provide the clinical evidence and literature basis to the further research, development and application of the medicines that treat the type of disease.Methods:the randomized and controlled trial was designed.47patients of PDS who matched the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into two groups.24cases were in the treatment group, the other23cases in the control group. The treatment groups were treated with the basic description of Huang Qi Jian Zhong decoction and Zhi Shi Xiao Pi pill that was added and substracted herbs to. The control groups were treated with Xuan Fu Dai Zhe Shi decoction that was modified.These decoctions were taken100ml warmly at30-60minutes before three meals. The one dosage of herbs was taken a day.the treatment lasted4weeks.The observation included the symptom scores before and after treatment and related the situation of physical examination.Results:(1) The total effective rate of the treatment group is91.3%. The total effective rate of the conrol group is87.0%. The total curative effect between the two groups has significant difference (p<0.05),and the treatment group is superior to the control group. (2) Both the treatment group and control group symptoms that compare with the symptoms before..treatment have improvement with varying degrees.Except the curative efficacy of belching and appetite reduction that have no significant difference, the treatment group is superior to the control group, and there is significant difference (p<0.05).(3)There is no adverse reaction between the treatment group and control group.Conclusions:(1)The Huang Qi Jian Zhong decoction and Zhi Shi Xiao Pi pill that is modified in treatment of postprandial distress syndrome with deficiency of both Stomach and Spleen has a remarkable curative effect and is superior to the control group.(2) Xuan Fu Dai Zhe decoction should not be long-term taken, because it contains arsenic.The Huang Qi Jian Zhong decoction and Zhi Shi Xiao Pi pill in application are safer than XuanFu Dai Zhe decoction.
