The Application Of Rfid Technology In The Medical Ward Round Management

Clinical ward round is the necessary stage of the medical process, directly relating to the medical quality and medical safety. In the medical management, using the RFID technology can effectively reduce the incidence of medical accidents, improve the level of management, and provide the first hand information for the medical staff performance evaluation.Firstly, this paper introduces the working principle of RFID technology, and analyzes its technical characteristics. The advantage relative to other automatic identification technology is more suitable to use for the ward rounds management.Secondly, in view of the present ward round mode in China, this paper analyses the application needs of the ward round in detail, and puts forward the significance of RFID technology applied in nursing ward-round managementFinally, this paper puts forward the system architecture of the ward round, and discusses the application effects of RFID technology on ward round based on the typical application of ward round in detail.Through summarizing the full text, and put forward the prospect of the RFID technology application in medical area, this paper shows that the application of RFID technology in the round is effective of improving the work efficiency of medical staff and reducing medical accident rate. It is effective of improving the medical staff for the medical record and simplifying the management process for medical ward and providing conditions for the management. Not only providing the convenience to the staff and the patient, but also bringing economic returns for the hospital.
