Gastric mucosal inflammation has three stages that is mild, moderate,severe. studies have shown that the major cause of the chronic activegastritis is Helicobacter pylori (Hp). Hp infection can cause gastricmucosal active inflammation and in long-term infection it may occur in somepatients atrophy and intestinal metaplasia. syndromes can be divided into:Syndrome of incoordination between liver and stomach, spleen and stomach(Deficiency) certificate, Spleen card, stomach yin deficiency card,Stomach meridian of blood stasis syndrome.Purpose:To search the relationship between the Chinese Medicine SyndromeType with the chronic atrophic gastritis, Helicobacter pylori Tongue (Hp)infection,mucosal inflammation.Method:to analysis the tongue of the75cases of chronic atrophic gastritispatients that diagnosis by endoscope with gastroscope pathology data, Hpinfection and TCM syndrome type.Results:1.75patients Syndromes percentage rate as follows: Syndrome ofincoordination between liver and stomach> spleen card> Spleen and stomachDeficiency card> stomach yin deficiency card> Stomach meridian of bloodstasis syndrome, which are more susceptible to HP’s syndrome is: Spleencard> Stomach meridian of blood stasis syndrome> Syndrome ofincoordination between liver and stomach> Spleen and stomach Deficiencycard> stomach yin deficiency card2. Helicobacter pylori-positive patients, the tongue with thin yellowcoating, yellow greasy moss common, nothing to do with the tongue3. The tongue can reflect the different levels of gastric mucosalinflammation4. Tongue does not reflect changes in the different lesions Conclusion:it has certain significance of observing Tongue for determinechronic diseases, the development of atrophic gastritis and Hp infection,reflecting scientific and clinical value of the tongue objectivity.
