54 Cases Of Primary Liver Cancer Patients With The Using Status Of Common Symptoms And Medicine Were Retrospectively Analyzed

Purpose：In this paper, the54cases of primary liver cancer patients as theresearch object, analysis patients’ general condition, symptoms，kps, syndromedifferentiation and use of sister herbs in Chinese crude drug medicine.Material and method：The cases those are analyzed retrospectively wereprimary liver cancer patients in oncology department of LiaoNing University ofTraditional Chinese Medicine Hospital for treatment from March1,2010to March31,2011, and took Chinese traditional medicine herbs. Final confirmation forsurvival time is March2011. All measuring data are used by using statisticalsoftware spss17.0for statistical analysis.Results：1.54cases of primary liver cancer patients mostly got exhausted, emaciation,pain, abdominal distension discomfort for common symptoms, including39casesof exhausted,28cases of emaciation,26cases of pain,26cases of abdominaldistension discomfort,24cases of less food, etc.2. The improvement rate of common symptoms: exhausted at71.8%, emaciation at67.9%, pain at69.2%, abdominal distension discomfort at69.2%, less food at66.7%, poor sleep at50%, etc.3. Frequency of54cases of primary liver cancer patients’ Chinese traditionalmedicine does prescription are: fuling-baizhu is46； huangqi-taizishen is45；huangqi-shanyao is25； chenpi-banxia is38；chaihu-huangqin is32；ezhu-sharenis24； baihuasheshecao-banzhilian is36； longgu-muli is33；chaomaiya-chaoshenqu-jiaoshanzha is26, etc. Conclusion：1. After taking traditional Chinese herbs54patients improvement rate of KPSare57.4%, and the improvement rate of patients whose KPS were more than60gradeis better, and improvement rate of type of stagnation of liver and deficiencyof spleen are the highest one. The patients generally got physical situationincreased, increased appetite, local pain mitigated, relieve symptoms commonly,but some of the patients had poor effects because the illness is heavy and courseof treatment is late.2. After taking Chinese herbs, the common symptoms of54cases of primary livercancer were generally improved, and also had differences between differentsymptom scores, among them,symptom of score of1are obviously improved.3. The use of sister herbs are almost belong to restoratives or have the functionsof regulating of Qi, some of them are for clearing away heat and dispellingnodes.4. The distribution of sister herbs has relationship with symptoms, namelydifferent symptoms had different distribution of sister herbs. Those symptomssuch as exhausted, emaciation,less food got highest frequency of sister herbsbelonging to the tonifyingrecipes; symptoms such as abdominal distensiondiscomfort and pain syndrome got highest frequency of sister herbs are mostlyfrom regulating of Qi and dispelling nodes; urinate yellow, stool stem nodeand edema got highest frequency of sister herbs are mostly from clearing awayheat and toxic materials.
