Objective:evaluation standard with gamma-type III treat the old intramedullary nails intertrochanteric fractures surgical outcomes.Methods:A retrospective Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine/Sichuan Provincial Chinese Medicine Hospital and Chengdu, People’s Hospital January2009to April2011were90cases of intertrochanteric fractures in patients with clinical data, according to their surgical procedure is divided intothree groups of30cases, respectively, is the standard gamma-Ⅲ interlocking intramedullary nails and dynamic hip (DHS) and the anti-rotation of proximal femoral intramedullary nail (PFNA) three internal fixation of intertrochanteric fractures. From the time of surgery, amount of bleeding, postoperative complications, fixation effect of hip joint function recovery, analysis, comparison, evaluation criteria of y-Ⅲ type interlocking intramedullary nail in intertrochanteric fracture efficacy in the treatment of.Results:The three groups of patients with baseline data, the statistical tests, the difference was not significant (P>0.05) were comparable. PFNA group and the standard of y-Ⅲ interlocking intramedullary nail group the amount of bleeding between the two groups the difference was not significant (P=0.843>0.05), the standard gamma-Ⅲ interlocking intramedullary nail PFNA and DHS in the operative time, amount of bleeding, postoperative complications, within the fixed effect of hip joint function recovery of the score, the difference was significant (P<0.05).Conclusion:The standard of y-Ⅲ interlocking intramedullary nail with PFNA has the fixation reliable, less invasive, simple operation, operation time and less bleeding, less loss of bone mass, which allows early functional exercise advantages, compared with PFNA costs compared with lengthened the distance between the nail ends and the nail, the remote Qu designed to meet the anatomical characteristics of the people, to avoid the stress concentration of the distal femur, reducing the incidence of femoral shaft stress fracture. Fewer complications, and results were satisfactory, the current treatment of intertrochanteric fractures compared with intramedullary fixation, especially for unstable osteoporotic intertrochanteric fracture.
