The Clinical Research Of Jugan Collutory In Treatment Of Recurrent Aphthous Ulcer

Objective:Observe the curative effect and adverse reaction of Jugan collutory in the treatment to recurrent aphthous ulcer.Method:Patients chosen by adoption standard were randomly divided into two groups (treatment group97cases and control group96cases).The treatment group used Jugan collutory and the control group used compound chlorhexidine collutory。The use methods for the tow groups:20ml per use,gargle with the collutory after a mouthwash, for2to5minites.keeping from eating and drinking for30minutes. Three times daily, and the total observational course was5days. The observational indexes consist of:the ulcer proportion, the ulcer number, the extent of congestion、exudation、burning sensation、pain, the pain index and ulcer diameter. Then the results of the indexes were observed and recorded after3-days treatment and5-days treatment.Chiss software was used to analyze the data.Results:after statistics analysis, there was no difference between the two groups in the age distribution, the sex distribution, the course and all of the symptoms and signs recorded on the first visit. After treatment, the total effect of the treatment group(96.9%) was superior than the control group(82.1%). The statistical results in the indexes what are the pain index,the ulcer diameter, and the extent of exudation and congestion of the treatment group were superior than the ones of the control group, which had a difference of statistical significance(P<0.05). And the difference of statistical significance between the two groups in the pain index on the third day was obvious (P<0.01). No adverse reaction occurred in this experiment.Conclusion:Jugan collutory has a better clinical effect than chlorhexidine collutory,and also it can relieve pain and make the ulcer coalesce more qickly. Jugan collutory is safe to be used to the patients.
