90 Cases Of Hand, Foot And Mouth Disease Complicated With Central Nervous System Infection Of Syndrome Research

Objective:Assemble the clinical data of cases with hand, foot and mouth disease complicated with the central nervous system infection in Linyi people’s hospital of shandong province. Learn the characteristic of onset. Evaluate the clinical effect with traditional Chinese medicine, and further probe the cause and pathogenesis of severe hand, foot and mouth disease.Method:This study is based on the research of major special project infectious diseases awarded by Beijing Chinese medicine administration--concurrent hand, foot and mouth disease of the central nervous system of the syndrome differentiation and treatment of traditional Chinese medicine of infection. This study is multicenter, prospective randomized controlled clinical research, with six home center participating in. The questionnaire unified for concurrent hand, foot and mouth disease of the central nervous system of the investigation. Collect the the general conditions of infected patients TCM the four diagnostic information and related laboratory tests ot the infected children who met inclusion criteria of hand, foot and mouth disease complicated with central nervous system. This study collect90cases of hand, foot and mouth disease complicated with the central nervous system infection in Linyi people’s hospital of shandong province (one of the six home center) between2010.7to2010.9, applying the retrospective method. This result was analysised by SPSS statistical software for the sorting of Chinese and western medicine clinical data, to learn the clinical onset characteristic of hand, foot and mouth disease complicated with the central nervous system infection in Linyi area and evaluate the clinical effect with traditional Chinese medicine, and further probe the cause and pathogenesis of severe hand, foot and mouth disease.Results:1. Severe hand, foot and mouth disease is mostly caused by EV71type in Linyi area, a few by EV71type combining with CoxA16type. Most children don’t have clear hand, foot and mouth disease exposure. The main susceptible crowd is boys under the age of3years.2. The manifestations of severe hand, foot and mouth disease symptoms from high rate to low rate in turn as hand, foot and mouth skin rashes, poor appetite, easy fear, low spirits, dry mouth, irritable crying, fever and so on. In auxiliary examination, the total number of white blood cells is more than the normal level.3. In the aspect of the duration that the temperature drops to normal, there is statistically significant between Group A and Group B, Group A and Group C (P<0.05), which indicate that the time of temperature drops to normal in Group B and Group C is shorter than Group A. The time of Group A, Group B and GroupC are49.85±19.38hours,39.33±17.91hours,40.14±12.85hours respectively. In the aspect of the nervous system symptoms that three days after treatment, there is statistically significant between between Group A and Group C (P=0.016<0.0167), which indicate that the rate of nervous system symptoms in Group C is higher than in Group A. The nervous system symptoms rates of Group A, Group B and Group C are70%,64.3%,51.7%respectively. In the aspect of the symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine, there is statistically significant between Group A and Group C (P=0.016<0.0167), which indicate that the rate of TCM symptoms in Group C is higher than in Group A. The total significant efficiency of Group A, Group B and Group C are76.7%,66.7%,40%respectively.Conclusion:The curative effect is distinc in the treatment of severe hand, foot and mouth disease by Western medicine treatment+phlegmy heat qing group, and Western medicine treatment+phlegmy heat qing+TCM treatment group. and the time of temperature drops to normal is shorter than pure western group. Western medicine treatment+phlegmy heat qing+TCM treatment group is better than pure western group in improving the nervous system symptoms and traditional Chinese medicine symptoms.
