Qingdao Outpatient Appointment Registration And Related Outpatient Service Present Situation Investigation And Study

The key point of our issue is going to analyze the situation and related factors of outpatient appointment system and outpatient service process of three largest First-class hospitals at Grade3in Qingdao. It aims to offer scientific data and suggestions for the management level, develop and improve the useful effect of appointment system.Method:1. we use questionnaires (see Appendix I) to analyze outpatient registration requirements and the forms of registration.2. At different periods of the day, we analyze the poured situation of obstetrics and gynecology, neurology Clinic, surgical flow triage stations, cashier and waiting area using field triage method.3. We interview the related section leaders about all the links of out-patient appointments system and other outpatient services process.Results:during this research, issuing questionnaires are600in total, recovery of563. We analyze the factors including the basic situation of patients, treatment time, reservation registration, communities examined reservations, and multiple outpatient services.84.54%of the test group considers it is necessary to carry out the out-patient appointments system. There are more people that supporting this system with the higher academic level. And there are78.69%of the test group which accept the first clinical and community reservation.Based on the field trip,8:00am-10:30am are the peak hours at the hospital registration.Based on the interview, the interviewees recognize that it is necessary to put forward to the out-patient appointments system, and it requires the cooperation of the hospital, society and the government.Conclusion:at present, the utilization of outpatient appointment system is very low; promoting the appointment registration has become the key method to resolve congestion, it requires the cooperation of the hospital, society and the government.Suggestions:The hospital should provide the patients a "one-stop" service of reservation registration, consultation, diagnosis inspection and treatment, and carry out the first clinical and community reservation, communities can offer free appointments for patients, and provide multiple ways of the outpatient service.
