This paper is divided into three parts:the literature review Ⅰ, the literature review Ⅱ and the clinical studies.Literature review:explore of the peripheral facial paralysis respectively from the ancient and modern traditional Chinese medicine; the main of the ancient understanding of the disease, disease location, pathogenesis, clinical manifestations and acupuncture therapy, and modern Chinese medicine on the disease etiology and pathogenesis, syndrome differentiation and the treatment method. Explore of western medicine on peripheral facial paralysis are mainly on the disease risk factors, clinical manifestations, diagnosis and differential diagnosis, treatment and prognosis.Clinical study:Objective:Through clinical research, the needles in acupuncture efficacy of Apex liver yang points bloodletting treatment of peripheral facial paralysis and a comprehensive evaluation.Methods:The selected cases were randomly divided into treatment group and control group. Observed for four weeks.13cases of the treatment and control groups.Treatment group were treated with phlebotomy treatment of liver yang points, needle acupuncture plus ear, the control group only needle acupuncture treatment.Outcome measures:The House-Brackmann grading scale re-evaluation of the severity of light; Clinical evaluation of the House-Brackmann symptoms rating scale.Results:The House-Brackmann symptoms after treatment in the treatment group and control group, group rating scale score before treatment score differences before and after treatment were statistically significant (P<0.01) after treatment than before treatment markedly improved.Treatment group and control group House-Brackmann symptom rating scale scores before treatment, the difference was not significant, no significant (P>0.05); after a week of treatment no significant difference between the two groups, no statistically significant (P>0.05); treatment between the two groups after two weeks the difference was significant, statistically significant (P<0.01), and the treatment group score higher than the control treatment group than the control group. Four weeks after treatment, the treatment group recovered8cases were cured,5cases in the control group recovered5cases, effective in6cases.After four weeks of treatment, the treatment group was markedly effective rate100%, control group, markedly effective rate of84.62%.Conclusion:Acupuncture treatment can significantly improve the symptoms of peripheral facial paralysis and its treatment before and after treatment contrast has a very significant difference (P<0.01). Needle acupuncture plus ear liver yang points bloodletting group with simple acupuncture group compared to the scale score has a very significant difference(P<0.01).Needle acupuncture Plus ear liver yang points bloodletting therapy is superior to simple acupuncture treatment.For the optimization of facial paralysis treatment programs has a positive meaning.
