This passage used many methods such as doing research onCh. quadrangularis resources, observing its biological characteristics, carrying outexperiment on afforestation technique and cultivation of wild Ch. quadrangularis, applyingscientific proof on cultivation and gardening application through summarizing managing andlandscaping technique. It can make contribution on riching farmers and improving the qualityof life of citizens.Research imply: Ch. quadrangularis resources occupy44.62hm2in Li Shui City. Naturalresources are mainly in Jing Ning county and Qing Yuan county where altitude is700~800moccupying24.3%and cultivated ones are mainly on latitude between50m to1200m. Atpresent, its main economic value is bamboo shoot use meanwhile it is used on landscapinggradually.Study found that, after pruning, the hidden buds from the bamboo branches to the groundwill grow new bamboo. The underground stems multiplexed axises are mixed together, whenbadly damaged, the newly planted Ch. quadrangularis Rhizome may grow into a new whip ornew bamboo shoots. When there is too much water in the soil or the soil permeability isundesirable, the aerial roots will be well developed. Surveys of ground and undergroundtrophic structure organ comparative studies: Ch. quadrangularis are hi damp plants, but iflack of light will be poor growth; they are superficial whip bamboo, about95%of theRhizome distribute in the0~40cm soil depth; Rhizome sprouting ability is strong,3to4years-old Rhizome is the best whip age for bamboo shoots. At different elevations, processfrom bamboo shoots into bamboo: the average temperature of bamboo shoots are about20℃,and the lower altitude, the later shoots emergence, it’s about25~30days for the bambooshoots to break ground, and it lasts over200days from the bamboo shoots unearthed to theHsinchu, the high-growth process lasts more than70days.This article, through Ch. quadrangularis afforestation trial, Wild Ch.quadrangulariscultivating technology, and practice of afforestation applications, summed up the wholeprocess of Ch. quadrangularis forest from section of the woodland to forest management, andproposed to configuration, structure regulation and protection measures in the gardenapplications.
