The copper cylinder pressure-measuring method, because its advantages of easy and convenience for use, low price and good consistency, has ben the main chamber pressure measuring method in product stereotypes, inspection of various weapons systems in fields of practical ballistics. As the environment temperature when copper cylinder was actually used is different from copper cylinder calibrated, and years of practice proved, when there is dozens temperature difference, a pressure-measuring error of5%to10%would be caused. Therefore, pressure that look-up table for room temperature must be corrected.According to the problem that the inconvenience and high cost for experiment with the old temperature static calibration device, a simple device was designed, which mainly divided into two part, one is force loading system and another is environmental temperature simulation device. The force loading device was designed according to the demand of copper cylinder static temperature calibration, which loading range is0~100kN; an environmental temperature simulation device was designed to simulate different environment temperature, which ranges from-40to50℃.The environmental temperature simulation device, consisting of temperature measuring circuit, temperature control unit and driver circuit, is developed based on semiconductor refrigeration. Experiment showed that the precision of temperature box is±0.5℃.Static calibration experiment with Φ8×13mm copper cylinders was done, and the necessity of temperature correction can be indicated from the experiment data, because the pressure-measuring error is up to8%under the extreme temperature. Several correcting methods are tried, such as temperature correction coefficient, similitude analysis, modifying model of pressure look-up table. Verified by experiment data, the pressure measuring error of copper cylinders in high and low temperature are less than2%after corrected and meet the requirements of the static-calibration copper cylinders pressure-measuring method. Finally, the feature of each correction method is concluded.
