| In the environment of low temperature, valve sealing material will cause a series of problem like strength degradation and material become crisp, then set off a chain reaction like the sealing degree is reduced and the anti-impact load capacity reduction. So lead the fluid to leakage, and bring the hidden trouble with the safe of the valve application at the alpine region. In order to solve this problem, this text design and develop a sealing material of valve test system of the low temperature characteristic which according to the national standard on the basis of extensive investigation. This test system can do the experiments of low temperature characteristics with sealing sample of rubber.At first, this text has developed an lab simulation equipment of the low temperature environment. The equipment could compound refrigerating fluid which can achieve the designate temperature within the certain range, then provide the cold source for the designate temperature environment simulate. The second, have designed and developed the stretch and compress ability test equipment of sealing ring sample which based on the GBT5720-2008O style rubber sealing ring test method. At last, have studied the three kinds of common valve sealing material sample’s tensile strength, elongation at break and compression ratio. The analysis of experimental data shows that silicon rubber’s sealing property is the best in the three sealing material at the temperature between-50～0℃.Through the use of test device indicate that the valve sealing material low temperature characteristic test system can provide the tensile strength, elongation at break and the compression rate of permanent deformation test for the sealing material sample, and validate that the correctness and rationality of the system, and supply the technology foundation for sealing ring of the valve on low temperature properties. At the same time, provide the stong basis for the sealing material ring of valve’s design, develop and product. |
