As one of the most important truncated valve, globle valve is not only widely used in the petrochemical industry, but also plays an important role in the aerospace field. Being an important component of aerospace equipment, globle valve achieves the function of gas delivery, globe, regulation etc. Its sealing performance directly affects the reliable operation of the aerospace equipment. To study the influencing factors and laws of typical valve sealing can achieve instructive meaning in the design of valve sealing pair,thereby,to enhance the sealing reliability of the valve.The article established the leakage model of typical valve,based on the fractal theory,and doing numerical simulation to analyse how sealing surface parameters affects the sealing performance of globe valve, such as the fractal dimension and rough outline amplitude scaling coefficient.The sealing pair of typical globle valve sealing pair was analysed by FEM, the stress distribution of sealing pair in preload conditions and operating conditions was obtained. And the difference of stress distribution in the radial direction and the displacement was compared,while the disc structure is different, then their sealing properties was contrasted.The influence factor for leakage characteristics of typical globe valve has carried on the related experimental research.The leakage characteristics was analyzed while the valve in the process of opening and closing,and got the linear equation of minimum closing force with medium pressure. The relacted factors on the leakage rate of sealing pair was summarized,such as the constrained conditions and structure factors of non-metallic gasket, and the width of sealing face.The study of the sealing characteristics of typical glove valve sealing pair in this paper, can provide a theoretical basis for the engineering design and practical opration of the valve sealing, to promote its reliability in industrial application.
