Having strong power, long-distance, high-speed, high accuracy,Ballistic missilehas become the focus of the countries widespread concern. Ballistic missile earlywarning system is an important part of the national defense system. Among them, theground-based radar systems observe, monitor, track the ballistic and provideinstructions for the decision-making. So the research of the radar echo is significant. The direction information can help to determine the target location. Using the phasedarray characteristics of controlling the beam flexibly and quickly, the target directioncan be obtained. The system simulation technology is an important tool and means tocarry out ballistic missile defense technology research. Based on the high levelarchitecture (High Level Architecture, HLA), Distributed Interactive SimulationTechnology can connect different emulator up in different regions. It has become themain development direction of modern radar system simulation for its goodinteroperability and reusability. In this thesis, I’m concern about the simulation needs of the phased array radar forballistic missile early warning of ballistic missile echo and angle measurementalgorithm, and completed the design and study of the corresponding module in thesimulation Federation. The main contents of this thesis are as follows:1. The principle of coordinate transformation is described, the simulation is appliedto the coordinate system, and to achieve the mutual conversion between the coordinatesystem is achieved.2. The characteristics of the phased array radar antenna is described, and theprinciples and methods of instruction to control the phase array antenna beam to controlthe phase array antenna beam pointing are presented, and the simulation of the antennapattern is completed.3. The form of Radar transmit signals is studied. The principle of pulsecompression techniques to address the role of distance and distance resolution isanalyzed. Based on the "stop/jump" theory, a moving target simulation applications for the mathematical model of the echo signal in phased array Radar is established.4. Signal-pulse angle measurement algorithm is derived, and the angle of target ismeasured and the information of position is gotten.5. HLA-based distributed interactive simulation technology, a federal member ofthe phased array radar echo generation and signal processing is designed and completed.
