Artillery location detecting radar is one of army tactics-radar,which takes the main task of locating hostile artillery launch positions.Based on the research of phased array radar,it can perform multiple working modes.Meanwhile,it has search,tracking,positioning,correation functions.The radar signal processor is the core component of the artillery location detecting radar system.Its main research content includes radar working mode design,clutter suppression processing and target detection algorithms.The thesis takes research and implemention of the radar signal processing technology with Battlefield real-time weapon positioning system project as the background.The main contributions of this thesis are listed as follows:1.From the overall point of view of the artillery location detecting radar system,the detailed design of the artillery position reconnaissance mode and low-altitude reconnaissance mode was carried out according to the tasks of the radar system.The speed ambiguity and target crossing problems in the detection of high-speed projectile targets in the artillery position reconnaissance mode are analyzed and verified.Aiming at the problem of poor detection performance in the short-range range in the low-altitude reconnaissance mode,a strategy design for the difference beam to optimize the pitch coverage is proposed.2.Aiming at the situation that there are multiple consecutive shots in the actual reconnaissance scene and the launch position is at the edge of the clutter,a two-dimensional Ordered Statistics-Greatest Of(OS-GO)-CFAR detection processing method is proposed.Combining Ordered Statistics(OS)-CFAR and Greatest Of(GO)-CFAR,testing along the distance dimension and doppler dimension at the same time,and outputting the detection results according to prior information and strategy selection.3.On the hardware platform of radar signal processor based on FPGA+DSP architecture,the signal processing technology is implemented through configurable modular software design.The signal processor hardware platform and signal processor software have been tested and verified in detail.Finally,the signal processor participated in the outfield detection experiment of projectile targets and low-airspace slow-moving small targets by the artillery location detecting radar system.The outfield experiment results of the artillery location detecting radar system show that the radar has good working performance in both the artillery position reconnaissance mode and the low-airspace reconnaissance mode,which verifies the successful completion of the signal processor development task.The research content and results of this thesis have important engineering application value.
