Along with the continuous development of society and economy in the cities, the living activities increase day by day. Every kinds of living styles demand urban space resource. Contradiction between green space and architectures became obvious, the density of urban buildings is great, the urban land price is high and the trend tends to more specific. The relationship of urban parks and people’s live are so close with pressing requirement of human being. Presently, when urban intensification construction need urban parks construction also being intense, the developing and perfect two-dimension design of urban parks eased the some contradictions temporarily, but the capacity and functions of urban parks’ intensification requirements still cannot be solved completely.This article attempts to choose the three-dimensional urban park design as study object under this background, which satisfy the demands of steric urban cities’ development, especially suggest under the background of land and public space scarcity. The designers, who prefer steric urban parks, should build them at the three-dimensional perspective, in other words, pursuing bigger and more developing space towards underground and superstructure. This article based on lots of practical cases, which rise from practices to the theories, then ascend from theories to practices again. The steric urban parks’development is the outstanding specialty of urban intensification and composited. Through the integration and maximum of ecology, economy and social benefits, the three-dimensional parks can be realized.This article analysis the system content, constitutions and so on, which stand at the aim of steric urban parks. It summarizes the related cases’sub-system and highlighted the main four sub-systems’ designing characters. It includes transportation system, landscape system, leisure system and microclimate and analyzes the four sub-systems’ functions, features and designing characters, approving it through the practical cases and suggesting new direction to the urban parks’ designs.
