Currently wireless sensor networks are the most concerned hot in the world. It is a network organized by a large number of sensor nodes through wireless communication technology and can monitor real-timely, sense and collect the information of a variety of environmental objects. The application of wireless sensor network has become increasingly widespread, from the early use of military in the field of environmental monitoring, medical care, and even has been applied to the smart home in people’s lives. The problem of WSN node localization is the premise of its many applications, and also one of the research hotspots of the sensor network. In this paper, a safe positioning mechanism based on the DV-HOP algorithm is proposed for aiming at the high demand for security in the troop frontier border early warming system.Firstly, after analyzing and comparing the few kinds of typical-free distance localization algorithms, it is found that the DV-HOP algorithm can be simply achived with high positioning accuracy, strong scalability and relatively low requirement on the network, which is an ideal location algorithm, The improved DV-HOP algorithm is used to complete the positioning of WSN nodes.Secondly, since the DV-HOP algorithm does not consider illegal node localization DV-HOP algorithm is impacted by the wormhole attack greatly. In the positioning process of the DV-HOP algorithm, it is proposed that the trust level of the anchor node is applied in determining the malicious nodes done by wormhole attack. After exclusion of malicious nodes, the multi-anchor estimation algorithm is adopted to improve the algorithm, which can estimate the distance between the unknown node to anchor node and improve the accuracy and safety of DV-HOP algorithm..Finally, a network localization coverage and localization error are simulated with the basic DV-HOP algorithm and improved DV-HOP algorithm. The results show that improved DV-HOP algorithm has higher localization coverage in the case of a certain network size and less localization error in the different number of anchors than the DV-HOP algorithm.
