With the rapid development of the information age, as the key role of the societydevelopment history, electronic information technology has become increasinglyimportant. A main trend of electronic information technology development is applied tohigher frequency direction, such as high speed development of terahertztechnology.Technology progress and application make the dependence ofelectromagnetic field and wave knowledge stronger, therefore, electromagnetic field andwave become an important task of the contemporary college education. How to let thestudent organically combied the theoretical formula and the abstract electromagneticfield, and improve the students’ autonomous learning, raises the ability of the student,strengthen the student’s enthusiasm, are the important research subjects of contemporaryelectromagnetic field and wave teaching which need continuly hard work and exploreactively.In recent years, the techers of electromagnetic field and wave teaching laboratoryin UESTC developed a set of electromagnetic field and wave comprehensiveexperiment instruments. This experiment instrument has unique groundbreaking fromthe construction to the methods all over the world. Its implementation is simple,experimental process is specific and clear, and generally cost is low, and has a strongpromotion application. In the actual teaching practice, this experiment instrumentplayed a very good teaching effect in college application both at home and abroad byuniversal praise.In the Twelfth Five-Year Plan of ministry of education, according to the currentsocial development, it needs the "high-quality resource sharing", which is a newteaching idea. It generally requires through the digital resources to realize "sharing",which requires the experiment instrument through the realization of all digital, maketeaching can through the network way. Therefore, in order to reflect the professionaladvantage of UESTC, keep the lead position of UESTC in the teaching ofelectromagnetic field and wave, the digital transformation and upgrading to theexperiment instruments is becoming an important and urgent task for the electromagnetic field and wave labotry of UESTC.This paper has developed a more intelligent and advanced digital electromagneticfield and wave intelligent teaching experiment system based on the existingexperimental teaching platform and laboratory teaching scheme of UESTC.This new digital experimental system has more accurate RF signal lanch controlability and more accurate RF signal testing ability, at the same time, the construction ofcomputer communication network makes each independent machine and hostorganically connect, and users can remote monitoring and control each machine throughthe host, to realize the teaching experiment digital management. The new functions andstrengthen performance has uniqully expanded and widen the prospects of "high-qualitygoods resource sharing".
