Study Of The Credibility Of Local Government In Crisis Manage Ment

In2010, Yihuang event was a wake-up call to the government to strengthen the construction of credibility. Although this event is over more than a year, but the real significance is still very important. From the cause of the fire, the development to the end, and the whole process should be able to see the county government in the event handling of the government credibility often make damage to the administrative behavior, so that in the end, completely dishonest in the people, and the adverse consequences. Although partners has already been due punishment, but we stopped to no reflection of events. This paper, from the local government credibility in no event of the basic performance, and to study the causes of related issues, including the following specific research content:Public trust of government is the objective reflection of government’s ability of administration. It can reflect the degree of legal construction, democracy and government’s service, simultaneously, it embodies the faith and the satisfaction of public. At present, public critical incidents have a serious affection for government. The government’s mishandling of crisis will take big troubles to its work. So, for the local government, management of public crisis should be an essential and significant function. By enhance the ability of cure after the crisis, the local government can keep the stabilization of society and elevate the credibility from general public. Therefore, it is the purpose of our research to find out the problems of the government’s credibility and the way to solve them.On the basis of discussing the research background, the basic theories of crisis management and the government’s credibility were elaborated in the first two parts of the paper. Then, in the third part, I took the Yihuang event for instance, reviewed the incident process amply, and analysed the loss of the county government’s credibility step by step. In next part, I pointed out the expressions and the causes of the loss of local government’s credibility. In the last part, I brought forward the way to elevate the credibility of local government in the background of crisis management.
