The Opera "White-haired Girl" In The "Xi’er" Of The Role Shaping And The Main Aria Research

Opera "The White-haired Girl" not only has distinctive and revolutionary modernity on the opera, but also opens a new era of China’s national opera script creation as well as opera music creation. It is the milestone in the history of China’s national opera work. The study of this opera mainly relies on the "Xi’er". As the most important leading role in the opera, is of significance in the development of the plot. The whole opera is all about fate of the role "Xi’er". This article attempts to analyze the character "Xi’er" by comparing two versions of the "Xi’er". The comparative analysis of the the classic characters makes readers have a more in-depth understanding and reinforce benefits the creation of character "Xi’er".This article is divided into four chapters. Chapter1from the historical development of Chinese folk opera as a breakthrough point, from several aspects including the creation background, historical position and realistic influence which inevitably elaborates the opera "The White-haired Girl" as China’s national opera milestone. Chapter2is mainly about the archetype of the roots "Xi’er", plot design of the opera "The White-haired Girl", source of music and creative and premiere "white-hair lady", modified and finalized this four aspects of analysis, stating the time background of the opera "The White-haired Girl" and artistic features. Chapter3mainly through the comparison and analysis of the fourth and fifth versions of Xi’er to carried on a thorough research, from two types of singing, music, image creation, instruments technique, and the clothing modeling. The similarities and differences between physical performances and choreography, leads to researches about how to shape the role of "who" would gain a more in-depth understanding and grasp more exquisite. Chapter4 researches about two singers of "North Wind","cry father" and "hate like alpine hatred is like the sea", with a more in-depth analysis particularly on different singing styles and emotional processing creation of "Xi’ er" in voice processing, expression of emotions, singing style and the era aesthetic feeling of the three pieces. Through the above research, not only enriched the fourth and fifth generation of character "Xi’er", but also fill up the vacancy in study of this aspect, enables us to have a more in-depth understanding of the opera, the role of "Xi’ er", paves ways on how to shape the role of "Xi’er" with certain theory basis and artistic ideas.
