The White-Haired Girl is a milestone of Chinese opera,and its birth is of great significance to the history of Chinese opera and even the vocal music.It has been 75 years since the opera "white haired girl" was born.During this period,it has been rearranged many times and modified many times.It is active on the stage.The classic aria in the play has been sung so far.The excellent actors in the play are recognized by people.This paper intends to select three main aria of Xi’er,the main character in White-Haired Girl,as the research object of this paper.From the two aspects of timbre and musical image,this paper attempts to make a comparative analysis of the musical language characteristics,timbre and musical image of the first Aria "north wind blowing",Xi’er’s Aria "I want to live" when experiencing the hardships of life and the Aria "hate like mountains and hate like sea" when she becomes the "white haired girl" that people fear.This paper summarizes the relationship between timbre and music image,so as to deepen the theoretical research on the national singing timbre and music image of the opera white haired girl.And return to the actual vocal music teaching,better integration of timbre and music image,flexibly applied to vocal music teaching and singing.This paper is not only a case study of Xi’er aria of the opera "white haired girl",but also an analysis of vocal singing skills,which can improve the author’s singing level and provide some reference for the teaching and research of national vocal music.
