The piano playing is one of the basic courses of music education specialty. Itincorporates artistic quality, theoretical property, scientificalness and technicality as awhole. By means of the piano lessons as the breakthrough point, this research is based onthe students of music education in normal universities and focused on the developmentand countermeasure of piano learning capability. The main purpose of the article is to teachstudents how to play the piano and how to develop their ability of understanding,imagination and innovation at the same time, to help them form an effective learningapproach and excellent learning ability in order that they can keep learning according totheir own needs by themselves after graduation.Discussions in this volume are divided into four distinct parts. The chapter Ⅰisfocused on the concept and structure of the piano learning capability. In this part, severalaspects are researched as follows: a good command of the keyboard playing skills, theability of music theory learning and understanding, the analysis and judgment to the pianocompositions, the ability of music appreciation and perception and the creative ability ofpiano performance. The chapter Ⅱis described the present situation of music education innormal universities and it is reflected in two aspects: the piano lessons under thebackground of music education major and the basic characteristics of the ability of schoolstudents. The chapter Ⅲ and chapter Ⅳ are the core part of this paper. The3rd part isstudied on the position and function of piano teachers. The piano teaching is combinedwith educational theory, psychological theory and philosophical theory and an innovativeresearch on the theory of Hannah Arendt’s thinking and its educational implications is put forward in this part. The last chapter from the piano learns’ angle to discuss the difficultyand relevant measures during the piano learning and try to put forward thecountermeasures, such as developed the ability of visual play, formed a good habit in dailypractice and excavated the scientific memory methods, in order to solve the problems ofphysiology and psychology.
