The Study Of The Vocabulary System From "Xiao Suntu"

Nanxi,is the earliest mature opera form in China.It is the basis for thedevelopment of Chinese opera later,and provides plenty of space for development tothe art of opera in later ages."Xiao Suntu",which is one of the masterpieces of theearly Nanxi,also is one of relatively well-preserved script nowadays.At the sametime,it is not only a valuable drama literary work,but also reflects the greatcharacteristics of itself,as a opera.The vocabulary of “Xiao Suntu”,is the opera books vocabulary,also an importantpart of the entire Chinese vocabulary system.We aim to study the vocabulary of “XiaoSuntu”,uderstanding the overall appearance of it,to get a glimpse of the basic outlookof the entire Chinese vocabulary system. Simultaneously,in the process of vocabularyresearch in “Xiao Suntu”,we strive to explore an innovative research method forvocabulary research,especially,for the books vocabulary research.That is,to highlightthe features of books vocabulary.The thesis includes introduction,body and conclusion,consisting of6chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,a brief depiction of the cultural background for thispaper’s study object__Nanxi. Similarly,comprising the research status of “Xiao Suntu”and exponunding the narrative ideas and methods of the overall study.In ChapterTwo,we certain the value of Vocabulary Studies “Xiao Suntu”.Respectively, from theperspective of linguistics,corpus linguistics and philology.Chapter three,we utilizetheory of the target cyclic structure to analyse the of vocabulary in “Xiao Suntu” in theround.In the Forth Chapter,we aim to explore the vocabulary development of “XiaoSuntu”,from the perspective of polysemy.The Chapter Fifth, focuses on thecharacteristics of "Xiao Suntu",as an opera book.We research the opera words in thisbook,in order to observe their development and change. At the end of the paper,itpoints out the purport of the full text. That is,we want to explore a innovative way to study books vocabulary,by means of the research for vocabulary in "Xiao Suntu".Inaddition,we also summarize the shortcomings and deficiencies of this paper.
