| With the rapid development of the economy and the enhancement of the international economic exchanges, the status of business English and business Chinese have been improved. In the translation of business English and business Chinese, it requires appropriateness and accuracy in word choice. Therefore, we translators must apply particular translation skills into business English and business Chinese translation to reflect its practical effect in business communication.This paper discusses the characteristics of vocabularies and skills in the translation of business English and business Chinese on the basis of translation practices. In the translation text from English to Chinese, the author focuses on the polysemy, word choice, conversion of word classes and confusable words. In the translation text of from Chinese to English, the author focuses on acronym, specific words and business terms. the last part is the summary of the translation practices.
