The Formation Of China’s Image

With the upgrading of China’s comprehensive national strength, the entire world begins to pay more attention to China and the number of foreign students who study in China is rapidly growing. Except for learning Chinese culture, there is no doubt foreign students will get to know China from all sides. Chinese media plays a certain role in forming an overall impression of China on them when knowing China. This paper analysis the media channels and corresponding effect on foreign students by questionnaires and deepen interviews, and try to discuss how the Chinese media shaping China’s image to foreign students. As a result, this paper makes some suggestions on the better working of Chinese media and Chinese teaching in disseminating Chinese culture and in shaping the image of China.
