Ecological Ethics’ Idea And Practice In Huizhou

As the change of the mode of production and the way of our life, the development of human beings in the process of conquering nature and transforming nature have produced a series of ecological problems. The causes of these problems are that human can’t understand and handle the relationship between man and nature correctly. As a discipline of researching the relationship between man and nature, the most important thing of Ecological ethics is to solve practical problems encountered in the process of practice. Associated with it, the Huizhou society has its own unique natural environment and social environment which formed their unique ecological ethics theory and practice. These historical experiences and lessons have reference meaning for resolving the contemporary social significance.The producing of phenomena and problems lies in the environment conception, so does Huizhou’s ecological ethics problems. one of the environmental problems created by ecological ethics of Huizhou is its natural environment. The basic natural condition of Huizhou area is its shortage of arable land resources which has leading to the long time contradiction between the limitation of Huizhou region resources and the growing local demand. The second problem is Huizhou’s social environment. First of all, Huizhou is an immigrant society. The new social problems cannot be avoided with the increasing of a large number of immigrant populations and the entering of foreign culture. Second, as the Huizhou society of the special culture of "Cheng Zhu Que Li", local people have higher cultural quality. And thus moral concern object expanded to nature. Finally, as a "social contract", the contract spirit makes people put ecological problems as Huizhou society’s common problems, and thus seriously searching for solutions of the problem.The natural environment and social environment of Huizhou region jointly possess the Huizhou ecological ethics idea. The essential Concept lies in the understanding of the relationship between nature and human. The concept start from the perspective of cosmology, think people and nature is an organic whole:man is the product of nature; man is a part of nature. And nature has provided production materials of human life, and two of them are mutual connection. Based on this kind of core concept of natural ecological organic between" people-nature", the Huizhou society chose to respect natural ecological values and the ecological methodology of sustainable utilization.Theory and concepts should be put into practice after all. Basic on the ethical relationship between human and nature, Huizhou society on the basis’s ecological practice activities are divided into three categories:water-based ecological ethical practice, the productive ecological ethical practice, living ecological ethical practice. First, as "the Contact Society", Huizhou society’s ecological and ethical practices are influenced by "feng shui theory". There are two main forms:one is "GuYuan "practice, which is protecting the environment from original damage of practice; another is to develop new type of practice, namely through people’s purposeful activities to foster new practices of ecological environment. Second, the productive ecological ethics practice which has pointing to the ecological ethical practice of production. According to production elements is different, the productive ecological ethics activity has two aspects:object of labor protection and labor protection. Third, the life ecological ethics practice activity, namely the Huizhou society of ecological practice in our daily life.Through the research on Huizhou ecological ethics idea, we can find that there are two features of Huizhou ecological ethics idea. First, the official way of the combination of ecological moral education is by moral education. Second, as the clan society, it also has the characteristics of the patriarchal clan autonomy. The former "dehua "educated by the constructing of education institutions, and ruled though administrative rules and regulations issued by the power. The latter has the moral control mode between their families and the clan.Huizhou ecological ethics and practices will ultimately review from contemporary perspective. We should take scientific understanding on them; derive the beneficial ingredients, and play a reference on the contemporary ecological ethics.
