Recently, more and more people start to learn Chinese. The stage of Chineseteaching has changed from china to abroad. The research of non-target languageenvironment has just started and need to be emphasized, especially thecountry-specific zero starting Chinese teaching of primary and middle school. Due tothe particularity of the teaching environment, stage and object, the research in thisfield is almost blank. The teachers have to grope in the teaching. In view of this, theauthor decided to do some research on Korea zero starting Chinese teaching inprimary and middle school taking the opportunity of being one CPIK Chineseteacher in South Korea for one year. The research involves the object, teachers,teaching material, idea and goal, method, content, assessment testing and key anddifficult point and so on. The research methods include questionnaire, to educationdepartment teacher’s interview and email, literature review, and experience exchange.The author has designed2012CPIK Chinese primitive assistant teachers’questionnaire and zero starting Chinese learning students’ questionnaire. The authorhopes that through this research, on one hand, her own teaching level can beimproved. On the other hand, this paper can provide some experience to the zerostarting Chinese teaching in South Korea’s primary and middle school. Furthermore,it can help the MTCSOL master’s cultivation in china. Last but not least, it canenlighten the Chinese international promotion.
