Study On Contemporary University Students’ Filial Piety Education Under The Multi-cultural Background

Filial piety is the first in all good.As an important part of the Chinese traditionalculture, the filial piety is the starting point of all morality, the basic moral of traditionalethics, the foundation of family ethics, and it is also the spiritual prop of familyharmony. On the one hand, the multi-cultural provides a solid cultural foundation, richcultural contents, diverse cultural forms, and open mode of thinking for Chinesetraditional culture education and university students’ filial piety. On the other hand, thevalue’s multi-dimensiona give college students’ value choice and correct world outlookformation increases difficulty,and cause their value orientation’s twists,socialresponsibility of deficient caused by multicultural become obstacles to the filial piety’sformation. Therefore, under the multi-cultural background, it’s a very important issue ofthe times to analysis the effect of multivariate culture on university students’ filial pietyto target research students’ filial piety education related issues.This paper is divided into four aspects: Firstly, an overview of the content ofmulti-culture and university students’ filial piety education. First analysis theconnotation of filial piety, filial piety education and university students’ filial pietyeducation.Then elaborated the connotation and characteristics of multi culture. Point outthe basic form of Chinese contemporary plural culture. On the basis of this, from twoaspects of positive and negative sides discussed multicultural affirmative bringopportunity and challenge to contemporary university students’ filial piety todevelop.Secondly,comprehensively elaborated the significance of strengthencontemporary college students’ filial piety education on the national traditional cultureinheritance, the cultivation of moral quality of university students and the constructionof harmonious society under the multicultural background.Thirdly,the contemporaryuniversity students’ filial piety status under the background of multi-cultural is analysed objectively. On the basis of the current situation, through the questionnaire investigationand mastered first-hand information, carry on the reflection of the filial piety. Fourth,the method of construction of university students’ filial piety education is systematicallydiscussed.Emphasizing students’ filial piety education should be with the socialist corevalue system as guidance, should adhere to the scientific principle, should inherit andrelate to outstanding filial piety education experience,should integrate college students’filial piety education environment resources and improve college students’ filial pietyeducation carrier system to promote college students’ filial piety education smoothly.
